About Dial-A-Ride (DAR)
Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 7:00pm
Sunday service available from 8:00am to 3:30pm
(by advance reservation)
Requests for rides may be made up to a week in advance. Calls for same-day service must be placed at least 2 hours in advance of your desired pick-up time.
To reserve a trip on the Dial-A-Ride, call 239-TRIP (239-8747). Tell the dispatcher your: pick-up address, destination, desired pick-up/drop-off times, and any special information such as use of wheelchairs, needing assistance on and off the bus, or needing help with up to 2 packages.
Be ready to board the Dial-A-Ride bus at the scheduled pick-up time. The driver will wait at the pick-up address up to 2 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time.
If you need to cancel a scheduled ride, please call the dispatch office as soon as possible. Missed ride appointments without cancellation could result in denial of future reservations. See the Passenger Code of Conduct.
